Hello there everyone. And welcome to senior living on the Suncoast. I'm your host, Steve Bennet-Martin. And I'm happy to bring you the only senior center podcast to assist us all. As we navigate the complex systems of aging together. Up and down the Suncoast to Florida. My mission with this podcast is to help make sure that the rest of your life is the best of your life, which means today we'll be talking about senior living news and community updates for our area for the week of December 7th of 2020. because we are still doing a lot of socially distant events. We have two coming up, one for professionals and one for. Caregivers and seniors themselves. The, the first four professionals in the senior living industry, we are having ours. Seniors. Blue book grows their marketing, meaning as each month, but this month there's is going to be the Christmas party where they are encouraging everyone to dress up in their ugly Christmas sweaters at 10:00 AM on the 17th for a great networking event where we can all celebrate socially distant via zoom. But together through the holidays. So I hope to see you there. meanwhile, for those of you in the community, we are doing our own version of social distancing at hardest Venice, where I work, we are doing our travel times, which has a quarterly event. We do that displays a different country's culture. And the theme for this month is Mexico. So we are doing a Mexican theme to Christmas. So expect some Felice Navi Dodd, and we will be doing that. On the 16th and we are doing that socially just in via time slots because we have a large enough welcome center to invite in a small number of people at a time. If you call us, you can always arrange your time slot. We do still have a few available, so you can call that to today at (941) 499-1800. And I will be sure to include the information for the, seniors of blue book marketing mania on the show link. So you can click over their Facebook page, which will have all the information for their event. In other news and updates. I wanted to let our listeners know that we are hard at work, or I am hard at work planning, our list of episodes for 2021. I have a lot of great ideas as this podcast is growing and we are getting more recognition in the community. I am shooting and organizing for larger guests. I expect a lot of great doctors, nurses, case managers, elder lawyers. You know, a whole bunch of great resources that are going to be coming in via this podcast for you every week, in 2021, given that, that means that through the rest of this month, you likely will be receiving and listening to shorter episodes. But I do promise to still keep you as up to date as possible. If you know of someone who you feel would be a great contributor to a future episode, or if you yourself would like to be considered check out our Facebook page, which I will also link to on the show notes, but there I'm going to be doing a post that lists all the topics that I am hoping and looking to record. So you can make your recommendations for guest experts. And until next time, everyone, I hope you are staying safe and staying healthy and staying happy. Bye.
